Lone Star Croatian Club
Is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 by Croatian-Americans in Houston area.The club was organized and exists in order to preserve and promote the Croatian heritage, culture, history and to foster closer relationships for Croatian-Americans in Texas.
Any Croatian friends or individual of Croatian descent is welcome regardless of their ethnicity .
Croatian and Croatian friends gather at picnics, Christmas parties and meetings.
The greatest event for the club is the annual Slavic Heritage Festival where the culture, food, folklore and music of Croatia are celebrated.
The Croatian Folklore ensemble in Houston was formed in 2009 with the idea to promote Croatian folk music and traditions through dance and music.The Croatian Folklore participates on Houston International Festival, UNICEF International Festival, Croatian American Society Dinner & Dance in New Orleans and many more small events.
In 2013 Croatian community started the Croatian School of Houston. The children learn Croatian language, customs, holiday traditions, songs, dance, Croatian geography and history

By involving Croatians-Americans in the events and tradition, the heritage of Croatia continue to evolve.

-The Croatian School of Houston  Mark your calendars for another fun semester at the Croatian School of Houston.
  The first in-classroom school day is February 21st at 4:30pm. As usual, the school will be held at the Lone Star Croatian Club (LSCC) at 4:30pm on Sundays, unless otherwise notified.    The address is: 7417 Hilcroft, Houston TX 77081.






- The next mass in Croatian will be held in March 2016 in the Our lady of Czestochowa Polish church.
